Side by side

How we picked

These gaming laptop reviews cover 10 RTX 5070 Ti laptops from the catalogue. The group rule selects listings whose graphics card is named RTX 5070 Ti and that state 16GB of RAM or more. Six of the selected listings state 12GB of graphics memory, and the remaining four do not state that figure. The picks are ordered by stated graphics memory first, then by stated RAM, then by screen refresh rate, with ties broken by the order in the pool file. Every laptop is compared on its stated specifications and live price.

How to choose

What the graphics card and its memory decide

In every pick in this guide, the graphics card is named RTX 5070 Ti. The graphics card does most of the work of drawing a game, and its graphics memory limits how large and detailed the scenes and textures it can hold. Six of the ten listings state 12GB of graphics memory; the rest do not state a figure. This guide ranks stated 12GB picks ahead of unstated ones, but it makes no claim about how any game will look or run.

Refresh rate: what the screen can redraw

Every listing in this guide states a 240Hz refresh rate, meaning the screen can redraw up to 240 times per second. Higher refresh rates are the spec competitive players look for because fast motion can appear more continuous. A laptop only delivers that benefit when the game itself produces that many frames per second. No game-specific frame rate is measured here.

RAM when the game, voice chat and a stream run together

The RAM in these laptops ranges from 16GB to 64GB. A game, launcher, browser, voice chat, and a stream or capture program can all be open at once, so more RAM leaves more room for those programs. For a player who streams while playing, 32GB or 64GB is a useful target; 16GB remains the minimum in this guide.

Screen size and weight when the laptop travels

The screens here are 16 or 18 inches. A larger screen shows more of the game and often stays on a desk. The stated weights run from 2.3kg to 3.3kg, so players who carry a laptop between rooms or to a friend's place may prefer one of the 2.3kg 16-inch entries. Weight figures come only from the listings.

Operating system and storage

The listings that state an operating system name Windows 11, Windows 11 Home, or Windows 11 Pro. Storage ranges from 1TB to 4TB, which decides how many games can be installed before a drive is full. Consider a larger drive if the library tends to stay installed rather than being deleted and redownloaded.

What this guide leaves out (and why)

This guide compares laptops on the specifications each listing states and on live prices. It does not cover frame rates, fan noise, battery life, keyboard quality, display color quality, or build quality. The catalogue has no data for those points, and this site does not guess. A purchase decision beyond specs should rely on information the seller actually provides.

Questions

Does this guide cover frame rates, fan noise, or battery life?

No. The catalogue used for this guide contains only the specifications each seller states and the live price. It has no data on frame rates, fan noise, battery life, keyboard quality, display color quality, or build quality. This site does not guess at those points, so the guide compares the laptops on stated specifications and live prices only.

What does 12GB of graphics memory mean for gaming?

Graphics memory holds the textures and scene data the graphics card is working with. More graphics memory gives a laptop room for larger and more detailed scenes, but it does not guarantee a game will run at any particular setting or speed. In this guide, six of ten listings state 12GB of graphics memory; the others do not state the figure.

Is more RAM always better for a gaming laptop?

More RAM gives more room for the game, launcher, browser, voice chat, and a stream or capture program to be open together. The picks here range from 16GB to 64GB, so a 32GB or 64GB laptop suits a player who keeps many programs running. However, RAM alone does not decide how a game will look or run.

What does a 240Hz refresh rate do?

A 240Hz refresh rate means the screen can redraw up to 240 times per second. Competitive players often look for a high refresh rate because motion can appear more continuous. A laptop only benefits from that rate when the game itself produces that many frames per second, and this guide does not state frame rates for any game.

Which RTX 5070 Ti laptop is easiest to carry?

The stated weights in this guide range from 2.3kg to 3.3kg. The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S entries that state 2.3kg are the lightest here, and they pair that weight with a 16-inch screen and a 240Hz refresh rate. The two 18-inch picks are heavier and better suited to a desk.
